One of four children does not attend any school P.E.

Executive Summary: A survey of parents and children revealed that one in four of the children surveyed did not get any physical education (P.E.) in school. This was reported in the National Association for Sport and Physical Education's Shape of the Nation Report, which summarizes the state of physical education in the American educational system. Even for those who did have P.E., the classes provided at the most only an hour and 45 minutes of physical activity a week.
